Groceries, pharmacies, restaurants, shopping, all things we need and use. Ogden has been designated as a food desert, meaning that it is difficult to buy affordable or good-quality fresh food. We received this designation in 2021 and nothing has been done to correct the issue.

For the number of residents living in Ogden, we are well behind in having enough pharmacies and groceries, not to mention the predicament we are in with expected growth. We have unused space in every corner of Ogden to add more stores of every type.

As a City Council Member, I will find ways for more:

• Grocery stores

• Pharmacies

• Restaurants

• Shopping
