REVITALIZE NEIGHBORHOODS

With age comes deterioration. Ogden has beautiful neighborhoods full of character and charm. I've noticed as I walk around Ogden's neighborhoods, that there are basic improvements that the city is not addressing. Several sidewalks are in rough condition and we don't seem to have enough street lights so that people feel safe.

In addition to general improvements, I'd like to introduce a bulk waste cleanup program that would occur in the spring and/or fall. Residents would be able to put items they'd like to get rid of on the curb during a designated week, and the city would come to pick them up.

Here is a list of things I'd like to do to revitalize our neighborhoods:

  • Fix our streets

  • Repair damaged sidewalks

  • Add more streetlights where needed

  • Introduce a bulk waste program
